If nothing else, spelling bees will probably have their own "end times" thanks to the Icelandic volcanoes of recent years. Try pronouncing the two that have disrupted European airspace two years in a row now.

I give up! I couldn't pronouce them if I tried and English was my favorite subject.

Once I started weraing dentures, words like Eyjafjallajökull and Grímsvötn roll off the teeth (still plural) and tongue like syrup.
