Yikes ... add Foleygate to Iraqgate and you get ...
Need I say more? Whether or not Americans agree with or disagree with the President on his handling of the war, if 58% of the voters think that he deliberately misled the American public about how the war in Iraq is going (Woodward's thesis), then add to that the ongoing mess in Washington, DC and you have the roller coaster going full bore. The operative word is "deliberate" in this generic CNN poll.
For more on this, see the October 3 posting at leftcoaster.com where I saw what I missed while I was at Grays Harbor College teaching this evening.

Hello Joe,
i hope everything is fine there.
so there is a Foleygate? ;) i didn't hear so much here about it. I'll try to take time and go on bbc and cnn later.
if you have time, you can read my last article my blog
something i don't understand (or maybe a little bit) is: how you can let the french come in Liban when Lahoud family in France is involved in bad lawsuits. When France and Liban have a lot of link, money link. Why? you can see now the international help doesn't go to south of the country. Why let france make their business when for Iraq they didn't want war because of oil contract (Pasqua, Chirac...). And about Iran? why you think Iran is asking France right now?
Sorry.
Have a nice day,
Frédéric

I will answer this when I translate "liban." (Lebanon maybe ...)
I personally would support any country that is in Lebanon to help them rebuild their infrastructure -- 75% destroyed by the Israeli bombs.
cheers
Joe
