The perfect GOP ticket for 2008 ... Coulter and Robertson!

And Democrats think that Senator Hillary Clinton is tough? Wait till Hillary faces the Republican's secret weapon ... no one is tougher than Ann Coulter!

Those of us who consider ourselves liberals (a.k.a. "progressives") shouldn't take 2008 for granted just yet. Admittedly, the polls look good today (at least for the 2006 Midterm Elections in November), but the far right has a couple of seriously tough customers that just might be the winning combination for 2008.

And did you notice that Pat Robertson has (correctly) joined the campaign -- as of yesterday -- against Global Warming and the exponential increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere? I will state that I was genuinely impressed by the Reverent Robertson's statements on this subject shown on CNN last evening.

Could he be getting his oar in the water early so as to catch the attention of Ann Coulter who probably has the Presidential nomination already locked up, thanks to her new (and really quite humorous -- other than that one minor comment directed at the 9-11 wives) book?

A Coulter-Robertson ticket would surely be the best response to a Clinton-Gore (again!) ticket in 2008. [No, I haven't worked out just how Al Gore might be coaxed into agreeing to run as Hillary Clinton's VP yet, but we have two years to work that out.]

And the Democrats think that former Vice President Al Gore has the corner on the market vis-a-vis his warnings about Global Warming? Wait till they get a whiff of Pat Robertson's warnings of fire and brimstone!
