Clinton versus Tasini in New York

Whereas Lamont is likely to at least come close, Tasini isn't expected to gather more than 25% or so of the votes in New York. Still, it might be a warning (although not likely) to those Democrats who are doing everything in their power to stay "in the middle" on the War in Iraq, immigration, ... whatever -- you name the issue.
True, we might very well have a Lieberman-Clinton ticket in 2008 and their tactics will then, in retrospect, have been proved (politically) correct. But what about what is right?
My brother, Richard from Connecticut might be the only "Democrat" left who will vote for Lieberman-Clinton over Jeb Bush and John McCain and/or Ann Coulter in 2008. But who will the rest of us vote for? That is, those of us who aren't fighting to maintain the occupation in Iraq?
What's this world coming to?
