It would've been only 466,999 !!

My New WAL-MART

Employers cut a one-person-larger-than-expected 467,000 jobs in June and the unemployment rate climbed to a 26-year high of 9.5 percent. Had I made it through to July 1st, the numbers would have been 466,999 and 9.4999999%. Workers also saw weekly wages fall, suggesting that persons like myself will have little appetite to spend … and the economy's plus my own road to recovery will be very, very bumpy.

Brother, can you spare a dime? I used to be able to jump on railroad cars, but now I can't even hop into the back seat of John's Elantra.

Whoops, didn't realize it went through the first time. John (I mean Gem) could screw up a one car funeral.

Hang in there Joe.

It's just a new, different chapter in your life. You've had other, previous chapters before.

Have you looked into Buddhism?

Lot's of austerity and mind calming wisdom there...the 4 truths and seven paths to enlightenment.

You're correct--just another chapter in my life.

No, I haven't really looked into Buddhism, But have tried to live in accordance with the teachings of Jesus. I fail a lot in that, but continue to try.

Thanks!

U.J.,
If all else fails, try palintology, the study of everything that occurs to Sarah, Todd, or anyone of the gang. I know it may not sound intellectually stimulating, but 'gee' it sure is fun, to quote the GUV. Imagine if we lose Sarah and Last Tango in Buenos Aires in one week. To sad to contemplate.

I agree with you that Sarah would make a marvelous President, but 2012 is a long way down the road ... besides that 2012 is predicted to be the end of the world.

She'd be elected easily over Biden in November and then the world goes pffft on December 21st--before she ever gets to take the oath of office.

Uncle Joe
