I wonder if Mr. Bolton has thought through the implications of his remarks ...

Click on the map to more clearly see the upshot of an Israeli attack on the nuke sites in Iran ... and note that most of the subsequent activities to such a strike have Israel seemingly out of the picture--in the light oval over on the left!

John Bolton (remember him?) thinks that although Mr. Bush (remember him?) will not likely preemptively attack Iran before he is history, Israel will. And oh yes, as if Israel didn't need a hint or two, Mr. Bush's former Ambassador to the United Nations went so far as to suggest a time window for the attack--sometime between the election in November and January 20th when GWB leaves office for an extended stay in Crawford, Texas.

The question of the hour is whether GWB gave (or will soon give) Israel the go-ahead wink to conduct an attack that will put the Middle East in chaos. (And according to McCain's senior strategist, would put John McCain in the White House if Israel moved such an attack up to, say, October.)
