Until today, I had no idea what an "ACL" was. Go get 'em, Tiger!

Tiger Woods wisely threw in the towel for this golf season. He announced on his website today that he would undergo surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

I believe that after the wonderful athletic performance of this past weekend, "Tiger's Knee" will replace "Achilles' Heel" in our English Language lexicon. I don't think anyone is thinking of the eighteen major victories needed for the record books now, Tiger ... only your health.
