As a follow-up to last posting ... even in America!
Not one, not two ... but at least three (as of last count) polls show that almost two-thirds of Americans are opposed to the ongoing occupation/war in Iraq. Of course, President Bush is working [sic] overtime [sic] with speeches and public appearances trying to shore up what he thinks [sic] is support for his invasion and continuing occupation of Iraq.
His latest "key word" (put into his speeches liberally by Mr. Cheney and his other minders) is "appeasement" along with words like "Nazis," "Fascists," and "Totalitarianism" -- although Bush's butchering of the pronunciation of "totalitatianism" will probably see that word drop out of future speeches and additional "fascists" or "Nazis" inserted, as necessary.
Are we really that stupid? Who was our #1 enemy after 9/11? Was it Saddam Hussein or his arch-enemy, Osama bin Forgotten? Americans know that Osama was behind much of what happened on 9/11 and Saddam even sent (admittedly insincere) condolences.
