GWB the worst ever? Probably not the very worst . . .

Admittedly, George W. Bush is surely in the running, so to speak, as the worst during the past two centuries; still, it is likely that if all of his attributes and failings were combined, he would not be the very worst of all times -- and considering that Cheney is the next person in the line of succession to the WH, he (GWB) might not even turn out to be the worst of this (still very short) century.

A troubling thought indeed. My apologies to my brother, Richard in Connecticut for that unkind thought.
