Richard said, "Okay!"

I talked to my brother, Richard, in Connecticut this afternoon and he said it would be permissible for me to share my deep-seeded spiritual thoughts about why we should not only have not gone into Iraq to begin with, but why we should depart as quickly as God permits. Being that Richard lives in PC-correct Connecticut, I regard this as permission from a "higher power" to vent without worry about possibly going beyond what is PC here in Washington or, for that matter, the rest of America these days.

He did, however, recommended that I "give it some thought" and wait a day or two before opening up in too "spiritual" a manner. Thus, my next posting or two will likely deal with mundane issues such as why Patrick Fitzgerald might have let Karl Rove off the hook earlier this week or why I am impatient for An Inconvenient Truth to get to a theater in my corner of nowhere on the Pacific Coast of the wonderful state of Washington.
