I'll See You All on May 22, 2011 !!

To read more, I suggest you look up the author, Harold Camping, who is the Focus on the Family radio/TV host ... using Amazon.com and read some of his eschatological arguments ...

Correction: (Thanks, Mark B.!) Harold Camping is with Family Radio and has been since the late 50s--not "Focus on the Family" as stated above. When I watched the old Camping dude on TV the other night--on a news broadcast--I picked up on the word "family" and my subconscious or something filled in the blanks incorrectly. Sorry 'bout that!

Have any of you begun seeing the billboards that are popping up around the country--like the ones below? (They are also on park benches and on buses in most of the larger cities in America.)

Haven't we been this route sometime in the past--maybe like forty or fifty years ago? Didn't someone find the logbooks in the cabin of Noah's Ark with dates close to "May 21, 4989 BC" written in them? That would be almost 7000 years ago, wouldn't it? Recall Daniel's seventy weeks (obviously 7000 years) and do your own arithmetic.

I'll have to check with one of my nephews who is a well-read Christian Pastor as relates to all of this ... or maybe his more eschatology-oriented brother, John, who has promised to unravel the entire Biblical mystery so he can tell his mother and his uncle (me!) whether we will be raptured on the 14th or 21st of May. I suggested to him that he should tell everyone to send his birthday gifts a day or so early this year--just in case!

Well this reminds us to be ready, whether this happens tomorrow, May 22, or 1,000 years from now...!

We need to ask Jesus to forgive our sins and ask Him to be Lord of our lives and walk/talk/follow/ask forgiveness from Him daily.

Any of us could go at any time, whether from natural causes or supernatural ones!

1,000 years from now? Would that be Biblical ... plus or minus 327.6 years?

Harold Camping is not the host and leader of 'Focus on the Family.' Baxter would be more accurate. Harold Camping is co-founder and President of Family Radio, which began in 1958, and has NO TIES to 'Focus on the Family.'.. Mark B

Thanks, Mark! I think I accidentally dissed "Focus on the Family" ... unless, of course, the earth loses 1.07% of its population on the 21st of May.

I really believe this a wake up call for all of to get ready to be with the Lord, before it is too late to do so. Because you never know when it will be our time, because only the Lord knows when that is.
