Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki asks us to STOP!!

The raids onto Iraqi civilian homes yesterday by American forces continued today ... this time to the point where Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki condemned the raids and demanded an explanation for the assault into a district where he has barred U.S. operations in the past. [This according to the Associated Press earlier today]

And this man is (presumably) our friend in Baghdad. The Iraqi Government (our Iraqi Government--not Al-Quaeda or some rebel forces) believes that we are indiscriminately attacking Iraqi civilians (are we?) and attacking in areas of Baghdad that are "off limits" to US soldiers.

Hmm ... isn't it about time for us to simply get out? Just as it was time (long ago and also long overdue at the time) for the Germans to leave Denmark, France and the Netherlands back in 1939, it seems that history is nudging us to bring our boys and girls home ... NOW!!!
