Greetings!

The purpose of this blog is to review each day's sociopolitical events in a balanced and fair manner, although my own views are far from balanced having endured about as much of (1) the ill-conceived war in Iraq, (2) the unconstitutional warrantless evesdropping into/onto our private communications, (3) the total obliviousness to Global Warming and (4) the not-so-hidden attempts by the neocons to refocus our attention onto Gay marriage rights/non-rights, immigration reform (admittedly needed), gun ownership rights, abortion "reform," flag burning/descecration, etc -- anything that might "Rove-itate" the house seat balance in November, 2006 while possibly leaving the overall American public in the dark as to where we are headed in the bigger picture of things (Global Warming, Iraq and Constitution watering) . . . as my stomach can take.

Let's move this thing along, folks -- in particular, I look forward to additional posts and/or comments from my "partner," brother and best friend in this endeavor, Richard Ryan.
